Under this scheme, small and marginal farmers are given benefits so that the farmers can purchase good quality seeds and fertilizers under this scheme. Eligibility of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana

• Pradhan Mantri Kisan is a central government scheme, the funds in the scheme will be 100% from the central government
• Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, assistance is provided to small and marginal farmer families
• Small and marginal farmer families who have joint or ownership of land with two actors are eligible to benefit from this scheme.
• A family as defined by the Government of India consists of husband, wife and minor children who are either individually or jointly owning land collectively owning up to two hectares of cultivable land as per the land records of the respective State or Territory.

Who is not eligible to benefit from the scheme?

• Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Eligible for Small and Marginal Farmers The Government of India has decided the eligibility for this scheme which citizens will not get the benefit of this scheme which details are given below
• Persons holding all kinds of constitutional posts, present and former, will not get
• Present or Past Ministers or Ministers of State Shri Lok Sabha Rajya Sabha or Legislative Assembly or Zilla Panchayat Shri Shri will not get the benefit of this scheme.
• All the serving or retired officers and employees of various departments, offices, ministries or its umbrella offices of the Central and State Government and the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be benefited.
• All retired pension holders who are drawing pension of Rs 10,000 or more per month will not get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana
• Taxpayers who have paid income tax in the last assessment year as well as professionals such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accounts and those who have professions registered with architecture professional bodies will not get it.
