All of you will be familiar with PM Awas Yojana which was launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi from the year 2016. Due to this scheme, the facility of Pakke Makan has been provided to crores of poor Indian families since its inception and the work is still ongoing.
Keeping in mind the frauds and frauds involved in PM Awas Yojana at present, new rules have been implemented in this scheme by the Central Government. Based on these new rules that have been implemented, now the requisite benefit will be given only to the absolutely needy person.

New Rules of PM Awas Yojana
The Prime Minister, while implementing the new rules in PM Awas Yojana, has announced that the persons who have wrongly constructed concrete houses in the previous years will now have to pay a hefty fine as per these rules.
Under this rule, special surveys are also being conducted by the government to get information about such persons. During the survey, the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana have to submit the complete details of their house in their nearest government office.
Other reasons for the new rules issued in housing schemes
Some of the other reasons for the recently issued new rules in PM Awas Yojana are as follows.-
- Fees for concrete houses should be charged from ineligible beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana.
- In order to alert the persons ineligible in the scheme, they should be punished on the basis of fine.
- On the basis of these rules, no one can do such work from now on.
- In PM Awas Yojana benefit can be given only to the needy families.
How much will be the penalty for wrong accommodation?
As per the issued rule, the person who is wrongly found to be the beneficiary of housing on the basis of the survey may have to pay a fine up to the amount of benefit received on the basis of time. That is, they may have to pay twice the amount of finance received for the house in the housing scheme as a penalty.
Other proceedings with fines
In PM Awas Yojana, there may be fines for fraudulent individuals and if they do not deposit the full amount on time, they will also face other government legal proceedings, including imprisonment up to 2 years. can fall
