Manav Kalyan Yojana 2024: Gujarat Govt 28 types of occupations

 A new scheme called Manav Kalyan Yojana 2024 has been launched by the Government of Gujarat. The main objective of this scheme is to economically empower the poor and backward class people of the state and help them get self-employment.

Benefits and Features of Manav Kalyan Yojana

• Under the Manav Kalyan Yojana, backward caste artisans, labourers, petty vendors etc. whose income in rural areas is Rs. 12,000 and in urban areas Rs. 15,000 is up to. They will be financially assisted by the government.
• Apart from this additional tools and equipment will also be provided to the low income citizens of the state.
• 28 types of job seekers will be helped by the government.
• Vehicle repairers, cobblers, tailors, potters, beauty parlor owners, washermen, milk sellers, fish sellers, flour millers, papad makers, mobile repairers etc. can avail this scheme.
• Under this scheme, the state government will provide all possible assistance to all these workers to increase their income.
• Citizens of Gujarat can apply online at home to avail the benefits of this scheme.
• The scheme is similar to the state-run Manav Garima Yojana, which is benefiting the citizens immensely.

Eligibility for Manav Kalyan Scheme

• To avail the benefits of Manav Kalyan Yojana, the applicant must be a native of Gujarat.
• Applicant's age should be between 16 to 60 years.
• To avail the benefit of this scheme the name of the beneficiary should be in the BPL list of the Village Development Department.
• There is no annual income limit for Scheduled Castes.
