The government will now give ₹900 per month to the farmer

 While assistance is provided by the government in various schemes, the farmers engaged in cow-based farming are given assistance for the maintenance of the cow.

13.44 crores have been paid to the farmers in Porbandar in the last three years for cow maintenance, of which 3,083 in Porbandar, 884 in Kutiana and 410 in Ranawav, 4377 farmers in the district have been paid assistance to the extent of Rs 1800 per annum for the cost of cows.

The state government is making a commendable effort to ensure that pure sattvic food is available to the people instead of food produced with pesticides and chemical fertilizers to reduce the cost of farming to prevent land degradation.

In Porbandar district, under the guidance of Chairman of Atma Governing Board and District Development Officer Ketan Thakkar, direct trada team of Atma project is conducting training and providing guidance to farmers on natural farming and farmers are being paid ₹900 per cow per cow under government welfare scheme for natural farming. is

13.44 crore rupees has been disbursed in the last three years in Porbandar district under the support scheme for maintenance cost of one cow for fully organic farming which was started with the intention of farmers doing indigenous cow-based natural farming and improving arable land.

Aid for cow maintenance

Under this scheme, farmers are given assistance of ₹ 900 per month and ₹ 10,800 per cow per year. In today's era, the main objective of the government is to protect public health from the adverse effects of chemical fertilizers and pesticides on crops.

Both arable land is fertile and the soil is not disturbed and due to natural farming instead of chemical fertilizers, the micro-organisms in the soil are very useful especially for the earthworm crop.

377.40 lakhs assistance was disbursed to farmers in the year 2021 2022 in Porbandar district.

488.96 lakhs assistance was disbursed to farmers in the year 2022-2023.

47949 lakhs assistance was disbursed to farmers in the year 2023 2024
