An order has been issued by the Gujarat High Court that if the school makes a mistake in the school leaving certificate of the student then it is the duty of the school to correct the student's school leaving certificate, once such an incident happened, when the school made a mistake in the school leaving certificate of a student, the Gujarat High Court gave See the order.

The school had to correct an error in the student's school leaving certificate

Once in the school a student told the school that her date of birth was 21/08/1991 instead of 22/08/1991. Hence the date of birth 21/08/1991 was written by the school in his school leaving certificate. Now, the student and her family came to know that this date of birth was wrongly written and sought correction but was denied by the school and reached the Gujarat High Court.

The Gujarat High Court said that if the applicant wants to amend the school leaving certificate, he has to submit the student's date of birth certificate (birth certificate) as the birth certificate is a standard document of the state government. Therefore, the date of birth which will be the date of birth will be considered valid and it will be the duty of the school to correct it accordingly.

The date of birth in the student's birth certificate was 22/08/1991 so the school was forced to correct the date of birth to 22/08/1991 instead of 21/08/1991.
