The 18th installment by the government under PM Kisan Yojana will be deposited in the farmers' bank accounts on October 5. Assistance of ₹2000 is available in each installment, giving a total benefit of ₹6000 (in three installments) in a year.
Importantly, completion of e-KYC is required to receive this installment. You can take the following options to complete e-KYC:
OTP based e-KYC:
Available on PM Kisan Portal or Mobile App.
Biometric e-KYC:
You can do it by going to the nearest CSC (Common Service Center).
Identification through mobile: PM Kisan is available through mobile app.
PM Kisan Yojana was launched in 2019 and so far more than 9 crore farmers have benefited under this scheme. Failure to complete e-KYC may result in payment stalling, so it is important to complete e-KYC on time.
