- The Prime Minister's Employment Generation Program provides loan facilities to individuals who wish to start new startups in the manufacturing and service sector.
- Apart from getting 50 lakh loan, the applicants will also get special training from the authorities related to their profession
- After completing the business skills training the applicants will receive the loan amount in their bank account to start a new business
- The scheme is promoting entrepreneurship among women and minorities and SC and ST categories by providing maximum subsidy on the loan amount.
Eligibility of PMEGP Loan Scheme
- Indian citizens who are above 18 years of age can apply for this scheme
- If you are setting up a manufacturing unit project then you can apply for a maximum loan of 50 lakhs however projects related to the service sector will get a maximum loan of 20 lakhs.
- No educational qualification is required to apply for a maximum loan of Rs 10 lakh for manufacturing units and Rs five lakh for service sector units.
- But if you want to apply for more than your minimum educational qualification should be more than eight passes
- If your unit is already registered under central government or state government subsidy scheme for occupations including PMRY, REGP etc. then you cannot apply
- Candidates belonging to SC ST category Women PH Ex-servicemen and other reserved category candidates will get maximum 35% subsidy in rural areas and 25% subsidy in urban areas.

- Login Form for Registered Applicant of Second Loan Subsidy for Upgrading Existing Business

How to Apply Offline for PMEGP Loan Scheme?
