 UPI Payment: Bank itself has issued a notification that UPI payment cannot be made on this day. Now people are gradually losing the habit of making cash payments and people are increasingly turning to online payments. The bank has issued a notification stating that UPI payment will not be possible on 04/08/2024 as the maintenance work of the bank has started on this day, UPI payment will not be possible, further it has been stated that the service will be closed for 180 minutes only. That means you will not be able to make UPI payment from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, after which you will be able to avail UPI payment service again.

Account holders of this bank cannot make UPI payments

Let us tell you that this service will not stop in every bank, only HDFC Bank account holders will not be able to make UPI payments on 04/08/2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. So HDFC Bank account holders cannot transact using UPI payment apps like google pay, paytm, whatsapp pay etc. during this fixed period.
