Gujarat Scholarship 2024: There has been a major change in the scholarship rules for students studying in class 1 to 10. Now the students studying in class 1 to 10 have to submit the following documents of the father to get the scholarship. If you do not produce that document of father you will not get the benefit of scholarship.

Only those students studying in class 1 to 10 whose father is a Gujarati will get scholarship from the government. Apart from this, even if the father is a foreigner and the mother is a Gujarati, the children of such parents will not get the benefit of the scholarship. Now the father of the student has to submit the following documents mandatorily for the proof that the father is a Gujarati.
People who are permanently settled in Gujarat state from other state should have settled in Gujarat before 01/04/1978, and father has to produce proof of this.
Father's document required for scholarship
- Father's Living Certificate
- If caste instance is applicable then father has to produce caste instance.
- The name of the student should be in the ration card and e-KYC of the student should also be done in the ration card.
- Income pattern (Annual income should not exceed 1,50,000)
- Student's bank account passbook
- A student must have 80 percent or more attendance in school.
Effect of new rule
This rule for scholarship of class 1 to 10 students will especially affect those who have permanently settled in the state of Gujarat from other states and whose children are studying in Gujarat schools.
Especially among such people there is a large number of children of working class or working class, they settle in Gujarat in search of employment and send their children to study in Gujarat schools.
