Three crore new houses will be built PM Awas Yojana 2024
A cabinet meeting of the central government was held on August 9. PM Awas Yojana 2.0 was approved in this meeting, under this plan three crore houses will be built at a cost of three lakh sixty thousand crores and financial assistance will be given to 1 lakh urban and rural poor and middle class families in 5 years.
Under this scheme, 2 crore houses will be constructed in rural areas and 1 crore houses will be constructed in urban areas.
Standard of assistance received through PM Awas Yojana
- Under this scheme the beneficiary is eligible to get subsidy ranging from ₹1,20,000 to ₹2,50,000. The amount received through subsidy varies from area to area.
- Under this scheme, if you want to take a loan, you get a loan for 20 years at a very low interest rate.
- The financial assistance received through this scheme is directly transferred to the bank account itself.
- Only and only 6.50% interest rate is available under this scheme.
- People living in inaccessible areas such as those living in plains get financial assistance of ₹1,20,000 and those living in hilly areas get financial assistance of ₹1,30,000.
- Under PM Awas Yojana, if you build a toilet, you will be given an additional assistance of Rs 1,20,000.
Who can build their perfect house through this scheme?
- To avail the benefit of PM Awas Yojana the beneficiary should be a citizen of India.
- If you own a ready-made house then you will not get the benefit of this scheme.
- Age should be 18 years or above to avail this scheme.
- Annual income should not exceed ₹3,00,000.

Application Process for PM Awas Yojana 2024
- To apply online for this scheme you have to first open the website named https://pmaymis.gov.in/.
- When you open this website, you will see the main menu, you have to click on this main menu.
- Here you will see an option called Awaassoft, click on it.
- Now you will see an option called Data Entry, click on it.
- Now click on the option called Data Entry for AWAAS.
- Now select Gujarat state in state selection, then select your district.
- Now click on Continue button.
- Then login by filling required information.
- Now an application form will open in front of you in which fill all the asked details carefully.
- In this way you can successfully fill the online form for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
