Talking about the norms prescribed for providing assistance to the farmers as per the rules, Minister Raghavji Patel said that the affected farmers will be given assistance for crop damage as per the norms of the SDRF State Disaster Response Fund.
Standards prescribed by the State Govt
- 8,500 as per HDRF norms and Rs.2,500 under state budget for loss of 33% or more in non-irrigated agricultural crops planted in Kharif 2024 25 seasons totaling Rs.11,000 per hectare subject to a maximum limit of two hectares per account.
- For 33% or more loss of irrigated crops, ₹17,000 as per HDRF and Rs 5000 under the state budget, a total of Rs 22000 per hectare will be provided by Khadeit up to a maximum of two hectares.
- For 33% or more loss of perennial horticultural crops, SDRF will provide assistance at the rate of ₹ 22,500 per hectare subject to a maximum limit of two hectares per account.
