Manav Kalyan Yojana: To make the Manav Kalyan Yojana more effective, the state government has made some reforms in this scheme. The most important improvement is that the beneficiary will now be given an e-voucher for the purchase of Rs 500 per day and equipment toolkit. So let's get the complete information about the reforms in Manav Kalyan Yojana.
New amendments to the scheme Manav Kalyan Yojana
Gujarat State Industries Minister Balwantsinh Rajput, while giving information about this scheme, says that the Human Welfare Scheme has been amended in this amendment, now the beneficiary will have to purchase the equipment toolkit himself, for this the e-voucher will be given by the government. Only with the help of this e-voucher, the beneficiary can buy the toolkit of his choice.
In addition to this amendment, it has been stated that if the beneficiary wants to undergo training from the reputed institutions of the concerned profession, five days of training will also be provided under this scheme and a stipend of Rs 500 will be provided for each day of this training thus the beneficiary will be given Rs 2500 for five days of training.
Artisans in this profession will not get assistance
Earlier Manav Kalyan Sahay Yojana provided assistance for 28 types of occupations but now after the new amendment, assistance will be provided for only 10 types of occupations.
This decision has been taken because the PM Vishwakarma Yojana implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi provides assistance to the remaining 18 types of businesses, so these 18 types of businesses have been excluded from the new amendment of the Manav Kalyan Yojana.

- Vehicle service and repairing work
- embroidery

- Beauty parlour
- Electrical Appliances Repairing
- Milk curd seller
- A papad maker
- pickle maker
